Role: Full Stack Engineer Location: UK-wide (Fully remote) Salary: £70,000 per annum Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Full Stack Node and Angular Developer to join our dynamic team in the UK. As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in shaping and delivering our cutting-edge platform. Your expertise in Node.js, Angular, and MySQL will be vital in building robust and scalable solutions that meet the needs of our growing customer base. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a meaningful project that has the potential to make a significant impact on the care home industry. Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Node.js, and Angular, ensuring high performance and scalability. Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards. Create and build out unit test for all features. Work closely with product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and technical issues, ensuring the overall quality and stability of the platform. Stay up to date with emerging technologies, trends, and industry best practices, and proactively suggest improvements to enhance the platform's capabilities. Collaborate with the testing team to develop and execute comprehensive test plans, ensuring robustness and reliability of the software. Requirements: Solid experience in full-stack development with expertise in Node.js and Angular Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies. Experience with RESTful APIs and integration of backend services. Familiarity with version control systems, such as bitbucket. Understanding of agile software development methodologies and practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team. Desirable: Experience with AWS and an understanding of cloud-based architecture and deployment An expanded breadth of expertise across a wider development stack Proficiency in database design, querying, and optimization using MySQL or similar databases. Familiarity with Scrum Experience in the healthcare or related industries, understanding the unique challenges and requirements of care homes. Familiarity with working with teams in geographically split locations.
