The Placements Officer will make a range of placements under the supervision of the Senior Placements Officer and Team Manger. The range of placements will include, Independent Fostering Agencies, Residential Placements, Special Needs, and Welfare Secure Placements.Placements Officer Service care Solution are currently recruiting for a Placements Officer in Enfield. The Placements Officer will make a range of placements under the supervision of the Senior Placements Officer and Team Manger. The range of placements will include, Independent Fostering Agencies, Residential Placements, Special Needs, and Welfare Secure Placements. This is a part time position working 16 hours a week. Pay rate - £16.15 per hour / £19.95 ltd umbrella Main Responsibilities As a Placements Officer, you will be responsible for: To commission a range of external care placements to meet the needs of the Council’s Looked After ChildrenTo ensure the delivery of Value for Money in all the team’s commissioning processesTo negotiate the costs of individual and volume agreements to deliver ongoing efficienciesTo develop the provider market to meet the evolving needs of the complex client groupTo ensure that the appropriate contract framework is in place for each placement madeTo advise social workers on other staff on the most appropriate placement option available Requirements: Enhanced DBSKnowledge of the range of complex needs of Looked After Children Working with Service Care Solutions comes with many benefits, including: A specialist consultant within an experience and dedicated recruitment teamExcellent rates of payPayroll services twice a week If you are interested in the Placements Officer, role, or know of anyone who may be, please contact Emma at Service Care Solutions on 01772 XXXXXX or email XXXX@servicecare.org.ukService Care Solutions also offers a £250 referral bonus So if you know of anyone who would be perfect for this position and they are placed into work, you will receive £250 for the referral once their probationary period has been completed
