This role is based in a modern 29-bed facility in Lincolnshire that provides acute mental health care and rehabilitation services. The hospital is dedicated to offering a therapeutic and safe environment for individuals on their recovery journey.In this role, you’ll be part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team, providing specialised care to patients with complex mental health needs.Key Details: Job Title: Associate Specialist PsychiatristLocation: Sleaford, LincolnshireSalary: £90,000 - £100,000 per annum + £250 starting bonusJob Type: Full-time, PermanentWorking Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with weekend availability Key Responsibilities: Provide individualised care and treatment for patients with complex mental health disorders, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.Participate in the on-call rota, ensuring medical coverage is available at all times.Ensure a thorough handover of patient care to colleagues, including out-of-hours transitions.Gather collateral history from other professionals and families to aid in comprehensive patient care.Prepare and complete discharge letters, reports, and statutory s62 forms promptly.Draft reports for First-tier Tribunal and Hospital Managers' hearings, under consultant supervision.Depending on experience, provide oral evidence at tribunal and hospital manager hearings, also under consultant supervision.Contribute to service development by participating in Clinical Governance activities, including audits, research, and teaching.Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuous and appropriate medical cover for all patients.
