FP&A Analyst Sheffield, South Yorkshire, United Kingdom Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 Join UniHomes as an FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) Analyst and play a pivotal role in shaping our financial future. In this brand-new role to the business, you will collaborate closely with our Finance Director to deliver accurate, insightful financial reporting that drives strategic decision-making. Your expertise will be instrumental in steering the financial direction of UniHomes, making a tangible impact on our growth and success. Key responsibilities: Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to forecast future financial performance, assess the impact of various scenarios, and support strategic planning, budgeting, and decision-making. Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and financial statements for management, stakeholders, and investors, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, opportunities, and potential risks. Provide insights to support strategic decision-making and identify areas for improvement. Leverage data analysis tools to extract, analyse, and visualise financial data to identify insights and trends. Collaborate with the wider finance team to streamline reporting processes and improve financial data quality. Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as needed to support specific projects, initiatives, or management requests. Skills and experience: Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) is preferred. Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis, preferably in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions. Proficiency in financial reporting, modelling, and data analysis tools, such as Excel, Power BI, Sage Intacct, SQL and Python. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines. Experience working in a collaborative team environment and adapting to changing priorities.
