We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our residential care facility. As a Grade 3 Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure our residents' physical, emotional, and social needs are met. Key Responsibilities:- Providing personal care and support to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and toileting.- Assisting with medication administration and ensuring proper documentation.- Supporting residents with their daily activities, such as meal preparation, housekeeping, and recreational activities.- Monitoring residents' health and reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.- Building positive relationships with residents and their families, ensuring their needs and preferences are respected and met.- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of care provided.- Following all health and safety protocols and ensuring the safety and well-being of residents at all times.Qualifications and Skills:- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.- Previous experience in a care or healthcare setting is preferred.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Compassionate and patient with a genuine desire to help others.- Ability to work well in a team and independently.- Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures.- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.If you are a caring and empathetic individual with a passion for helping others, we would love to hear from you.
