The Cinema at the Power Station is currently seeking to hire a bartender. Location : The Cinema in the Power Station, Battersea Power Station Contract: Part time Salary: £13ph while on probation, £14ph after a successful 3-month probation Hours : 20-25 3 days per week. Who are we? Split between the iconic Battersea Power Station and under the railway arches beside it, The Cinema in the Power Station is an exciting new project in the heart of southwest London. We are in need of a knowledgeable, engaging, and experienced bartender to join us, providing our guests with first class service. What will you be doing day to day? • Meeting and greeting our guests, making them feel welcome and comfortable • Provide first class beverages • Working as a team player at all times • Ensuring the bar, and bar area are kept looking pristine • Occasionally helping other areas of the business as requested • Making sure all checklists and cleaning rotas are adhered to What do you need to bring with you? • Customer service • Bartending experience with focus on cocktails • Can work evenings and weekends • A willingness to take initiative and be proactive at work • A positive and friendly attitude • Flexibility and reliability • Commitment and drive • The ability to attend and undertake all required training • Excellent time management Preferable skills/experience: • Experience working in a cinema or theatre • While an active interest in film is not essential, it will enhance your application • Barista experience In return, we can offer you… • Staff cinema screenings and free cinema tickets • Cycle to work scheme • Career progression We aim to be an equal opportunities employer and are determined to ensure that no applicant or employee receives less favourable treatment Powered by JazzHR
