Are you a safety-focused sales professional with a proven track record in automation? We are seeking a dynamic Key Account Manager to join our successful team. Our company is a leading specialist in automation components, systems, and services, with a strong commitment to safety. The Role: Develop and manage key accounts across a diverse range of industries. Drive sales growth for our portfolio of products and services, including training, consulting, engineering, and technical support. Generate new business opportunities and implement effective sales strategies. Prepare and deliver compelling proposals for machinery safety solutions (risk assessments, PUWER assessments, CE/UKCA marking). Conducted market research, attended industry events, and represented the company at exhibitions. Provide expert technical advice and support to customers. Covering the M62 Corridor. The Ideal Candidate: Proven sales experience in safety-related automation technology (safety relays, controllers, PLCs, light curtains, interlocks, software). Strong understanding of machinery safety standards and regulations (e.g., PUWER, CE/UKCA). Technical knowledge of automation systems and components. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong commercial acumen. Ability to travel extensively within the UK. This is a home-based position requiring national coverage. What is on offer - Salary £60-£70k (depending on skills and experience). The current average is £65k.
