Position: Receptionist (Hotel/Accommodation) Location: Kelvedon, Essex Salary: £25,000 A charming and historic venue located in the heart of Essex, known for offering exceptional service to their guests attending weddings, corporate events, or enjoying a delightful meal at their restaurant is seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to join the team and be the welcoming face of this beautiful accommodation.As an Accommodation Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for guests. Your role is crucial in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. You will handle a variety of administrative and customer service tasks to ensure the smooth operation of accommodation services, including taking payments and organizing bookings. Key Responsibilities: Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanour. Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently. Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle guest inquiries promptly. Provide information about our facilities, services, and local attractions. Assist with booking and reservation management. Handle payments, invoices, and other financial transactions. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure rooms are ready for guests. Address and resolve guest complaints and issues in a timely and effective manner. Maintain a tidy and organized reception area. Perform other administrative tasks as needed. Qualifications: Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills. Familiarity with booking and reservation software is a plus. Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure. A friendly, approachable, and positive attitude. High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in hospitality management are a plus.
