Senior Geotechnical Design Engineer Reference: BY1404 Location: Northampton Salary: GBP41,000 : GBP48,000 This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Geotechnical Design Engineer to join an expanding Environmental and Geotechnical consultancy based in Northampton. The Senior Geotechnical Design Engineer selected will be: * Designing geotechnical structures including retaining walls, slopes, foundations and infrastructure. * Carrying out Desktop studies. * Scoping and (at times) overseeing ground investigations. * Mentoring junior members of the team. To be considered for the Geotechnical Design Engineer position you should therefore have experience as a Geotechnical Design Engineer, with a strong understanding of soil mechanics and experience using softwares such as , AutoCAD, Excel, Alp, PDisp, Rocscience Slide, ADC Adsec, Oasys Pile and WALLAP. You musy also have a degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering (with a geotechnical focus) or similar (MSc preferred). Have a full and clean UK Driving Licence, live commutable to Northampton and have a full right to work in the UK.
