Site Manager

Description:
Key Responsibilities: * Manage and supervise all on:site activities, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and schedules. * Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure efficient and effective project delivery. * Monitor and maintain health and safety standards, ensuring a safe working environment for all site workers. * Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to building regulations and standards. * Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and resolve any issues that may arise. * Prepare and maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, site diaries, and health and safety documentation. * Manage site budgets and resources effectively to ensure project costs are controlled and within budget. * Lead by example, promoting a positive and collaborative team environment. Qualifications and Experience: * Proven experience as a Site Manager on residential development projects. * In:depth knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and health and safety standards. * Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. * Excellent organisational and problem:solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. * Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders. * Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field (e.g., NVQ, HNC, HND, or degree). * SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification is essential. * First Aid at Work certification is desirable. * Proficient in the use of construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
