The role * Actively participate in developing UK practice and promote the company to existing and prospective clients.* Conducting geotechnical site investigations including testing, data logging and technical reporting.* Delivery of high standard geotechnical designs.* Collaborating with multi:disciplinary teams across mixed use, commercial, urban, buildings and infrastructure projects* Planning and managing large scale projects. This will include coordinating the preparation of cost estimates, tender submissions, technical documentation, client reports and monitoring project progress, project scheduling/resourcing, and meeting deadlines and budgets. What you need to succeed * Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent, with a focus in Geotechnical Engineering* Minimum 8:10years industry experience* Proven project management skills (achieving prescribed budget, timeframe and client requirements)* An understanding of the business/organisation/marketing context of business solutions.* Well:developed consulting skills* Ability to manage client relationships and expectations* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a diverse and multi:disciplinary environment* Chartered Member of the ICE or the Geotechnical Society or equivalent
