Join our dynamic team as a Lead Project Engineer (Pipeline Installation) and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of offshore energy. About the Role: As a Lead Project Engineer, youll have the unique opportunity to supervise a diverse team of installation engineers, coordinating various methods of pipeline reel lay installation for global projects. Whether its ongoing projects or those in the tendering phase, you will be at the forefront, ensuring efficient day:to:day operations and providing regular updates on project activities, technical matters, and resource management. Your expertise will guide other engineers, fostering an environment of continuous learning and development. Key Responsibilities: * Coordinate a team of method engineers from early project engagement through offshore execution on our reel lay assets. * Serve as a technical reference for pipeline installation, contributing to subcontractor selection. * Produce installation method statements and procedures, support procurement activities, and follow up on subcontractors. * Proactively support HSEQ activities and prepare and deliver technical presentations. * Perform installation rigging calculations and rigging design. * Assist the Tendering department with feasibility studies, method statements, man:hour estimates, schedule inputs, and costing support. * Support the procurement, fabrication, and testing of installation aids. * Follow your scope offshore on our installation vessels. What We Are Looking For: * A degree in Engineering/Marine/Naval/Offshore Technology / Civil / Mechanical or equivalent. * Extensive experience as a project engineer, primarily within the offshore energy industry. * Demonstrable experience in offshore pipeline installation methods, preferably reel lay, but S or J:lay methods are also considered relevant. * Proven track record of guiding and leading teams of engineers. * Clear communicator, comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
