Can you build good relationships and break down barriers with young people Are you an experienced TA with SEN experince looking for a fresh start? Have you got experience working across a range of age groups and abilities? If so, then this 1:1 TA role could be for you Get in touch asap. We are looking for a 1:1 teaching assistant to work assisting a child with ADHD who needs extra academic support to start as soon as possible in a school in Burnley. The child has no behavioural issues and this is a great opportunity for someone who would like to gain more experience and build on their CV. Benefits * GBP11 : GBP14.50 per hour * A welcoming team that will make you feel supported throughout your role * A Recommend a Friend bonus up to GBP300 * A rewarding role that will give you the chance to develop your skill set * Excellent transport links Requirements * SEN experience, or any experience working with children is fine * Enhanced DBS on the update service (or a willingness to get one) * Strong work ethic * Able to adapt to the different needs of the child * Be able to liaise with parents and other staff * Good safeguarding knowledge * Responsibilities * Support the child with additional needs * Providing support to the child both academically and socially * Assisting the teacher with the paperwork in keeping track of progress of the child * Liaising with the class teacher and parents to provide the best support * Doing 1:1 interventions, mainly maths and english Does this role not sound like the right fit for you?
