Great get in touch Role Overview: This South Leeds School is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behaviour Support Worker to join their team. The successful candidate will work closely with pupils, teachers, and parents to support positive behaviour and emotional well:being, ensuring all students have the opportunity to succeed. Key Responsibilities: * Provide one:on:one and small group support to students with SEMH needs. * Develop and implement behaviour management plans in collaboration with teachers and parents. * Monitor and record students progress, adjusting strategies as needed. * Foster positive relationships with students, promoting self:esteem and resilience. * Assist in creating a safe and inclusive learning environment. * Support teachers in managing classroom behaviour and implementing positive behaviour strategies. * Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing updates on students progress and well:being. * Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities. Qualifications and Skills: * Previous experience working with children in an educational or support setting. * A relevant qualification in education, child development, psychology, or a related field. * Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and techniques. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents. * Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting childrens well:being. * Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
