Parts Information Illustrator Location: Birchwood; Warrington /HybridSalary: GBP20.85 per hour PAYE / GBP25.37 Umbrella Contract Duration: Up to 12 months (Mat Cover fixed Term) Role Overview: You will be converting engineering designs and technical information, into Aftermarket service information i.e Parts lists and manuals with Illustrations, this role plays a pivotal part in generating master service parts information tailored for the internal company network and key OEM customers. The key responsibilities encompass converting 3D/JT Models into 2D Illustrations through illustration software (Iso:Draw), supporting comprehensive parts lists and service information. Ensuring seamless alignment between the Aftermarket ERP system and engineering systems, facilitating effective procurement, and optimizing parts stocking. Close collaboration with engineering, marketing, and commercial teams is imperative to deliver service information support. Skills and Experience: * Excellent Analytical Skills:A significant portion of the role involves transforming engineering and technical data into comprehensive service information. * Bills of Material Management: Proficient in managing Bills of Material within a BOM/parts listing application. * Technical Aptitude: Ability to recognize engine spare parts/components through description, drawing, or shape. * Proficient in interpreting basic technical data. * Communication Proficiency: Exceptional communication skills, adept at collaborating with diverse teams across the organization. * Team Collaboration: Contribute to team success by delivering key business metrics. * Work independently, planning, organizing, and prioritizing workload effectively. * Detail Orientation: Possess an eye for detail with a commitment to excellent quality and work standards. * Adaptability and Learning Agility: Demonstrated ability and willingness to adapt and learn in a dynamic environment. * Remote and Office Collaboration: Ability to work both remotely and in an office:based team environment. * Task Prioritization:Proficient in prioritizing tasks efficiently. Advantageous: * Industry Experience: Exposure to industrial diesel engines, automotive parts, or agricultural equipment/machinery. * ERP System Proficiency: Experience using SAP ERP systems. * Technical Authoring and Product Lifecycle: * Familiarity with Technical Authoring or Product Lifecycle packages (e.g., Windchill). * Illustration Software: Proficiency in the use of illustration software, e.g., IsoDraw. * MS Office Skills: Good working knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word).
