Synergi are recruiting for a Technical Manager to join one of the leading FMCG Manufacturers whose product is consumed across the world.The successful candidate will work as an integral part of the management team, supporting and advising the company on food safety, integrity, legality and quality issues as well as providing general technical support for relevant activities on site.Job Title – Technical Manager Rate – £65,000 Industry - FMCG/Manufacturing Location: East Riding of YorkshireSynergi are recruiting for a Technical Manager to join one of the leading Food Manufacturers whose product is consumed across the world. The successful candidate will work as an integral part of the management team, supporting and advising the company on food safety, integrity, legality and quality issues as well as providing general technical support for relevant activities on site.Roles & Responsibilities as a Technical Manager: Technical management of all aspects of Production to ensure all products are produced within specifications and are of the correct quality.To ensure that you are aware of all the company’s legal responsibilities for Health and Safety and that safe working practices are always implemented and adhered to including all your team membersManagement of the FS&Q and Laboratory teams.Monitoring, reporting and support for the Production team in delivering good quality products and expected yields.Leads QA and QC teams The Ideal background of a Technical Manager: Previous experience in chemical or food industry in a head of department management capacity.Detailed knowledge of food production processes - HACCPYeast knowledge and experienceUtilising Data to drive decision makingMinimum HNC or equivalent NEBOSH qualified Benefits: Up to 10 bonus based on individual and company performance Holidays: 26 days plus 8 Public Holidays Enrolled from Day 1 on standard 4 by employee and employer but with the option to increase up to 10 with matching employer contribution BUPA single cover Medical Expenses scheme What you need to do now If you are interested, please apply through this advert.
