Position: Household Staff & Recruitment Manager Location: London, UK Salary: Competitive, based on experience We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Household Staff & Recruitment Manager to join our prestigious household in London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing household staff and recruitment processes, with excellent communication and organizational skills. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee all household staff, including butlers, housekeepers, chefs, gardeners, and other domestic workers - Develop and implement staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage at all times - Train and mentor staff to maintain high standards of service and professionalism - Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff - Manage household budgets and expenses, including staff salaries and purchasing of household supplies - Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance and repairs - Oversee household inventories and ensure proper maintenance of household items - Plan and organize household events and special occasions - Conduct regular inspections to ensure the household is well-maintained and meets high standards - Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies for the recruitment of new staff - Create job descriptions and advertisements for open positions - Screen and interview potential candidates, conduct background checks and verify references - Negotiate and finalize employment contracts with new staff - Provide orientation and training for new staff members - Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in household management and recruitment Requirements: - Minimum of 5 years experience in household management and recruitment - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong leadership and management skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Knowledge of household budgets and financial management - Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software - Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times - Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed - Valid driver's license and clean driving record - Knowledge of British etiquette and customs is preferred If you have a passion for household management and recruitment and possess the necessary skills and experience, we would love to hear from you.
