Position: Film Production & Support Manager Location: London, UK Salary: Competitive, based on experience We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Film Production & Support Manager to join our dynamic team in London. As the Film Production & Support Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of film production and ensuring the smooth delivery of services to our clients. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and oversee all aspects of film production, including pre-production, production, and post-production stages - Develop and maintain production schedules, budgets, and timelines - Hire and manage production crew, including directors, producers, cinematographers, and other key personnel - Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and ensure their needs are met throughout the production process - Source and secure filming locations, permits, and equipment - Oversee the casting process and ensure the timely delivery of scripts, storyboards, and other production materials - Monitor and control production costs to ensure they stay within budget - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on set - Manage post-production activities, including editing, sound design, and visual effects - Liaise with marketing and distribution teams to develop promotional materials and plan film releases - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to improve production processes and services - Handle any issues or challenges that may arise during production and find effective solutions - Maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other industry professionals - Provide regular reports to senior management on production progress and budget updates Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Communications, or a related field - Minimum of 5 years of experience in film production, with at least 2 years in a managerial role - Proven track record of successfully managing film productions from start to finish - Strong leadership and communication skills - Excellent project management and organizational abilities - In-depth knowledge of film production processes, equipment, and software - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines - A creative and innovative mindset - Strong problem-solving skills - Knowledge of health and safety regulations on film sets - Familiarity with marketing and distribution processes for films - Passion for the film industry and a strong understanding of current trends and developments If you are a highly motivated and experienced Film Production & Support Manager looking for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you.
