Are you a Quantity Surveyor or a Senior Quantity Surveyor? Are you looking for a new and exciting new role, based in the Kent area? I have some new Quantity Surveying positions in Kent, working on build and/or civil engineering projects If you are looking to work with an established business, who value their staff and work on some exciting projects, then this could be the job for you. Location: Near Maidstone, Kent Contract type: Permanent Start date: ASAP Salary: GBP55 : 75k (negotiable : depending upon experience/level) Randstad CPE Contact: Louise Pridmore (Maidstone branch) The Projects: A diverse portfolio of both civil engineering and build schemes; ranging from road improvements, concrete repairs and reinstatements, aviation projects, paving repairs, utilities and specialist framework projects, new build schools, hospitals and warehouses. The Role: This is the perfect opportunity working an excellent company, who hold an excellent reputation in the industry. This role will be site / office based with some flexibility to work from home too. You will be responsible for: * Procuring sub:contractors, agreeing prices and letting the packages * Negotiating costs with various parties * Drawing up contracts (NEC) * Monthly reporting (CVR) * Responsible for work package change control and management * Dealing with any pricing variations * Responsible for project re:measure * Preparing final accounts * Change management * Managing subcontractors * Working within an integrated team Requirements: * NEC / JCT * Degree / HND in Quantity Surveying * Excellent IT and maths skills are essential * Attention to detail * Excellent report writing and negotiation skills are essential * Experience in : highways, bridges, infrastructure, environmental, frameworks and special works and / or build and residential Benefits: * GBP55,000 : 70,000 per annum (depending on experience) + package If this role sounds of interest to you, or if you know someone who may be interested, please get in touch with Louise Pridmore on 560 660 or email Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
