The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of the premises.Service Care Solutions is currently seeking a reliable and dedicated Caretaker for a client in the Wood Green area of North London. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of the premises. Key Responsibilities: Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.Maintain cleanliness in common areas, such as hallways, restrooms, and outdoor spaces.Conduct minor repairs and maintenance tasks e.g., changing light bulbs, fixing minor leaks. Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.Conduct regular safety checks and report any hazards or security issues.Manage waste disposal and recycling processes. Security: Monitor the security of the premises, including locking/unlocking doors and windows.Report any suspicious activity or security concerns to the appropriate authorities. Customer Service: Provide a friendly and approachable presence for residents and visitors.Address and resolve any maintenance-related queries or concerns promptly. Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and maintenance tools.Order and restock supplies as necessary. Qualifications and Skills: Previous experience in a caretaking or maintenance role is preferred.Basic knowledge of cleaning and maintenance procedures.Ability to perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
