Job Title: Continuous Improvement Manager Location: Shaftesbury Salary: A GBP 44,000 : A GBP 47,000 per annum DOE Job type: Full Time, permanent Are you an experienced Continues Improvement Manager looking for change? If yes, this role might be a great opportunity for you BV Dairy is a food factory and family:run business established 66 years ago in Shaftesbury Dorset. Recently we have joined First Milk group : a British farmer:owned dairy co:operative. Every day we source 100,000 litres of milk from the local farms. You can find our products in most supermarkets across the whole of the UK. To strengthen our production management team we are looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager who will support the production management team in delivering the continuous improvement agenda. The purpose of the role: * To be the subject matter expert for Continuous Improvement within the Production department* To identify all key drivers of costs and waste across production and lead various projects to maximise productions efficiency; support production teams to achieve the highest standards* To identify, facilitate, and manage any projects and tasks that target improvements in production efficiencies, reduction of waste, improvements to quality, reduction in downtime and optimisation of plant Your experience so far: * Proven work experience as a Continuous Improvement Manager or similar role* Six Sigma Green Belt certification* Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies* Good MS Excel skills* Strong project management skills* Outstanding analytical and organisational abilities* We expect you to be a fair leader and encourage collaboration, positivity, and a solution:based culture at all times What do we offer: * Great career development and training opportunities within the company* Free on:site parking* Additional benefits such as additional leave, health and wellbeing program, company pension, company events, store discounts, and many more If you are interested and would like to join BV Dairy please get in touch.
