Job Title : Senior Commercial Broker Salary : Up to A GBP 60,000 a year Location: Faringdon, Oxfordshire Job Type: Full Time, Permanent This is a senior level role within a progressive team. With the role comes: * An existing book of business* An opportunity to develop your own portfolio : of standard and non:standard Commercial Accounts, Risks and Schemes You will have: * Worked on Commercial Insurance risks in a position of responsibility* A proven track record* The ability to coach, train and generally provide information to the supporting team members* Excellent technical insurance knowledge* The self:confidence to effectively deal with clients boards and board members Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include: * Looking after existing book of commercial clients, from SMEs to larger corporate clients* Maintaining meaningful relationships by providing excellent customer service* Further developing the current book, by: a) cross selling techniques and business development b) the development of existing insurer facilities in the UK and EEA c) developing the existing scheme and target markets * Operating within regulatory guidelines* Supporting other team members as appropriate/necessary to ensure a first:class service to all of our clients Required: * 7+ years experience in General Commercial Insurance* 3+ years experience in generating and placing new business* Experience of Broking within the EEA would be an advantage as would a knowledge of arranging insurance for companies trading internationally* Driving license About Us?
