Youre a Mechatronics Engineer / Automation Engineer with extensive experience in PLC programming and robotics. Youll be based from our factory in Wrexham, but will work on projects across the UK and internationally with our global company to install and commission our automated production line equipment. Youll be a highly valued member of the team who need your expertise in mechanical, electronic and computer engineering principles. COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: You could live in Wrexham, Chester, Deeside, Oswestry, Ellesmere, Whitchurch, Crewe, Shrewsbury, Mold, Rhyl, Market Drayton, Nantwich, Runcorn, Liverpool JOB DESCRIPTION: Mechatronic Engineer / Automation Engineer : Automation / Print As our Mechatronic Engineer youll be designing, developing and implementing innovative mechatronic systems / solutions. Youll use your extensive mechanical, electronic and computer engineering knowledge to create prototypes and conduct testing on the equipment to ensure functionality, reliability and ensure performance standards are met. Youll be required to travel within the UK and occasionally internationally, staying on site for 4:6 weeks at a time, to install, commission and set up our production line equipment. Youll:A Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in existing systemsA Project manage, leading the team to plan, schedule and execute the project within time and cost budgetsA Integrate mechanical, electronic and software components into cohesive systems PERSON SPECIFICATION: Mechatronic Engineer / Automation Engineer : Automation / Print Youre a degree qualified and experienced Mechatronic Engineer used to working with control systems, sensors, actuators and robotics. You possess a strong knowledge of industrial automation and manufacturing process which means youll slot seamlessly into our team. You have extensive experience in programming PLC controls along with plenty of hands on technical / design experience. Youre used to working in a team and are able to manage multiple projects, You will be:A Educated to a degree level or higher in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a similar fieldA Interested in engineering principles and constantly developing your skillsA Experienced with programming languages such as C/C or Python, but this isnt essential You must be happy to stay away from for extended periods of time. This is a couple of times a year, but is essential to the role. THE COMPANY:We manufacture top of the range products from office printers, to industrial machining centres.
