We are looking for an experienced Health Care Assistant to work within an assessment unit for patients with Dementia, based in Barrow-in-Furness. The unit provides assessment and treatment for people suffering from dementia when they are unable to remain in their own environment, delivering an individual care and treatment plan in a safe supported environment.We are looking for an experienced Health Care Assistant to work within an assessment unit for patients with Dementia, based in Barrow-in-Furness. The unit provides assessment and treatment for people suffering from dementia when they are unable to remain in their own environment, delivering an individual care and treatment plan in a safe supported environment.This role is fully flexible allowing you to work around any commitments, promoting a healthy work life balance.SHIFTS: Available Monday to SundaySHIFT PATTERNS: Earlies: 0730-1500 Lates: 1230-2030 Long Days: 0730-2030 Nights: 2000-0800 SPECIALISMS: Older Adults - assessment for organic illnesses, such as Dementia.The Role: Assisting patients with daily activities such as personal care. Assisting qualified nursing staff where necessary.Making patients feel comfortable and calm. The Person 12 months minimum experience working as a Healthcare Assistant in a residential or inpatient setting.Excellent Communication SkillsInternational applicants are unfortunately unable to be considered.
