Role: Senior Infrastructure Engineer Salary/Rate: GBP350 : GBP 450 per day (inside IR35) Location: East Kilbride, nr Glasgow Contract Duration: 6 months We are currently looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer for our government client. This Senior Infrastructure Engineer role is hybrid, based 3 days per week on site in East Kilbride, near Glasgow and the remainder of the week working remotely. The contract for the Senior Infrastructure Engineer position is initially for 6:months with potential to extend, offering a daily rate within the range of GBP 350 to GBP 450, operating inside IR35. Security Clearance: Security Check (SC Clearance) This role is inside IR35 : Due to the service of the role, it will now be based on an Umbrella solution. Role Profile/Responsibilities: * Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) administration, including familiarity with Autopilot deployment and device enrolment * Ability to create and deploy applications, device configuration and endpoint security policies, operating system and application patching * Windows and IOS end user device and operating system support * The ability to support a Cloud based print solution * Microsoft Entra ID administration and troubleshooting * Administration, troubleshooting, and reporting on Cloud based Zero Trust Platform * A collaborative approach to working both within the Infrastructure Engineering teams and with other DDaT functions as required Desirable: * Practical knowledge of Linux and Ansible * Experience of SNMP and Agent based infrastructure monitoring * End User device management and application delivery and lifecycle management using System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM) * Installation, support, monitoring, and maintenance of Microsoft Technologies such as Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange, PowerShell, DNS, DHCP, Certificate Services, ADFS, Failover Clustering * Installation, support, monitoring, and maintenance of Server Operating Systems (Windows and Linux) * Installation, support, monitoring, and maintenance of virtualisation technologies If you are interested in the above role, please click Apply Now and send a CV for quick review.
