Role: PMO Manager Salary/Rate: GBP55 : GBP 63.43 per hr (inside IR35) Location: Aldermaston, Nr Reading Contract Duration: 18 months We are currently looking for a PMO Manager for our government client. This PMO Manager role is hybrid, based 3 days per week on site in Aldermaston, near Reading and the remainder of the week working remotely. The contract for the PMO Manager position is initially for 18:months with potential to extend, offering an hourly rate within the range of GBP 55 to GBP 63.43, operating inside IR35. Security Clearance: Developed Vetting (DV Clearance) This role is inside IR35 : Due to the service of the role, it will now be based on an Umbrella solution. Role Profile/Responsibilities: * Evidence of successfully leading cross:functional teams in a moderately complex programme * Proven experience of project delivery * Build and maintain effective internal and external working relationships * Read, analyse and interpret charts, spreadsheets, schedules and (in some business areas) technical drawings * Clear and concise communication approach, both oral and written, at multiple levels. Compile and present presentations to peers and Senior Managers * Build good team morale and spirit and motivate others * Manage resources effectively (people, budget, equipment) * Allocate and manage work of team members, taking account of individuals different abilities and workloads * Listen to stakeholder requests, assimilate and convert into project team action, plans and schedules * Hold people to account when they under deliver or let standards slip * Use Microsoft Office tools * Desirable Skills: * Motivating and managing in a highly regulated environment * Membership of a relevant professional body. * Evidence of project management competence e.g. APM qualifications. * Schedule management : Effectively manage the integrated schedule for the transformation. This includes ensuring the currency of the schedule and proactive management of deliverables including escalation of risks and issues using MS Project. * Proactive management of the programme risks, issues, dependencies and opportunities (RAIDO) and the programme master data and assumptions list (MDAL) ensuring their currency and relevance. * Quality and Assurance Management : implement the quality and assurance management strategy ensuring the programme delivers to specification with proportionate reviews undertaken at defined times with appropriate follow:up actions swiftly implemented. * Draft relevant programme reports, briefings and artefacts. * Information Management : Implement the information Management Plan ensuring that the right people have access to the right information at the right time while complying with information management processes. * Act as the secretariat for the regular cross:workstream workshops and meeting to ensure coherence of overall programme. * Be flexible and resilience to undertake appropriate project management tasks across the programme to ensure the smooth running of the programme.
