Happy Nest have the pleasure in helping these first-time parents in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire to find a professional maternity nurse . Baby is due in mid December with a planned c-section.The family live in Knaresborough ,which is easily accessible from Harrogate and the A1 by car.There is a separate bedroom with bathroom available throughout the duration of the booking. The family are looking for someone who is experienced and can support them family through the first 12 weeks in helping them get off to the best start with sleep and baby care with care ideally six days and nights per week but could accommodate 5. Duties - Provide exceptional care and support to the newborn baby during the day and night- Assist with breastfeeding, ensuring that the baby's nutritional needs are met and supporting mum.- Help settle the baby back to sleep after feeding to aid sleep.- Nappy changes and maintain proper hygiene for the baby.- Offer guidance and share knowledge with the parents on newborn care, breastfeeding, bathing, routines and sleeping techniques.- Monitor the baby's health and well-being, promptly reporting any concerns to the parents.- Maintain a safe and secure environment for the baby, adhering to current health and safety guidelines.- Support the parents emotionally, providing reassurance and guidance as they navigate their new role as parents.-Towards the end of the placement to help transition a permanent nanny into the role for around 1 week showing routines already implemented.Suitable non-medical qualification would be NEST (New-born Education Services Training) Level 3 or above, MNT Level 3 or similar. Starting 14 December depending on the confirmed date of the c-section. - Duration 12 weeks 5/6 days £350 per 24 hours Essential requirements Fully enhanced DBS (criminal record) check.
