Working closely with the NHS and private hospital sectors, their customer base also includes veterinary and dental practitioners, small individual and large group practices, as well as security, industrial and education sector organisations.In order to deliver a proactive and professional first-line customer service, an engaging and methodical Logistics Coordinator is required to join the IRS team. The successful candidate will take responsibility for coordinating survey and/or consultancy visits to customer premises.Reporting directly to the Logistics Manager, the Logistics Coordinator will be expected to perform a range of administrative tasks with the ultimate aim of providing a seamless service for colleagues and customers alike.All necessary training will be provided to the candidate that can demonstrate a warm, engaging personality with the ability to deliver a fully rounded coordination service. Key Responsibilities Acts as main customer liaison for nominated sites regarding all site visitsEfficiently coordinates survey and/or consultancy visits to all nominated customers, including the coordination of logistics staff e.g., Surveyor or ConsultantActs as first point of contact for all Ad Hoc customer visitsCreates Contract Amendments for any visits required that fall outside the scope of a customer’s contractGenerates and issues quotations for specified work e.g., Critical Examinations, Ad Hoc work for existing customer baseProvides first-line customer service support for Logistics queries via telephone and e-mail.
