You will be working for one of UK's leading healthcare providers This care home provides specialist rehabilitation care for people with an acquired brain injury ABI or progressive neurological conditions PNCs To be considered for this position you must have a degree in Speech & Language Therapy and registered with the HCPC As the Speech & Language Therapist your key responsibilities include: Manage complex cases, cultural and linguistic differences, and to generate strategiesTo demonstrate specialist knowledge in communication and swallowing disordersTo contribute to the assessment and information-gathering regarding service users’ mental capacity and ability to give informed consent with support from senior colleaguesTo assist service user's to maximise their independence in decision-making and communicating their wishes The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role: To have experience of managing a caseload involving assessment and treatment of dysphagiaExperience of working with familiesEvidence of continuing Professional DevelopmentAble to show a can-do attitude alwaysSpecialist clinical knowledge and experience in Adult Neuro-rehab The successful Speech & Language Therapist will receive an excellent salary of £38,000 per annum. This exciting position is a Full Time role working 30 hours a week.
