The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within an infrastructure environment. The RoleKey purpose of the role is to lead on project management of capital infrastructure projects, working with internal and external stakeholders using project management methodologies Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to: deliver capital infrastructure projects up to a value of £20m on individual projects.represent the Service and/or lead, corporate or external projects.monitor and improve the co-ordination and delivery of projects across the department.be responsible for the production of and management of project related reports.ensure the priorities of the Council and funder are maintained and delivered. The CandidateTo be considered for this role you will require appropriate technical qualification OR demonstrate the equivalent level of theoretical, technical and procedural knowledge and experience of working on infrastructure / engineering projects.The below skills would be beneficial for the role: Substantial understanding of relevant legislation and its application, e.g. dependent on type of project Health & Safety at Work Act and the Equality Act, LTN1/20, CDM Regulation 2015 EtcContract and Project Management skills, and a good knowledge of a variety of techniques and good practiceAbility to communicate complex information effectively, accurately and appropriately to different audiences using a range of media. The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £50 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35.
