They are currently seeking a dynamic Finance Manager.OverviewReporting to the Managing Director MD, this hands-on, fully rounded role offers a talented finance professional the opportunity to grow and learn. As a small company, this role involves managing the finances end-to-end, with input from the MD.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparing all month-end reportsEnsuring accurate P&L reporting and balance sheet reconciliationsCollaborating with the MD on margin checks and monthly report commentaryHandling day-to-day bookkeepingManaging invoicing and purchase invoicing as neededPreparing and posting month-end journalsCompiling accruals and prepaymentsOverseeing credit control, including chasing and monitoring debtor accountsManaging audits and resolving discrepanciesValidating new supplier setups and change requestsPreparing and filing VAT returns for the UK and other jurisdictions as requiredManaging creditors and paymentsHandling payrollFiling CT returns and accounts at Companies HouseAssisting the MD with budgeting, forecasting, and updating the financial model as neededPerforming ad hoc commercial finance tasks to analyse activityConducting filing and other ad hoc tasks as requiredCandidate ProfileExperience managing the financial accounting process in a small business that holds stockPreferably e-commerce or consumer retail finance experienceStrong problem-solving skills and logical approach to workExcellent attention to detailAbility to adapt to and manage changes in working practicesSystems and EssentialsPart-qualified or having started accounting studies if a finance graduateGood to excellent Excel and general IT skillsMust have experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central Jet reports experience is a bonus
