MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANTCENTRAL LONDON // HYBRID 3 DAYS OFFICE / 2 DAYS HOME £55,000 - £65,000 + BENEFITS + STUDYTHE COMPANY: We’re MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANTCENTRAL LONDON // HYBRID 3 DAYS OFFICE / 2 DAYS HOME £55,000 - £65,000 + BENEFITS + STUDYTHE COMPANY: We’re exclusively partnering with a highly successful and fast-growing £14m Turnover business based in Central London that is seeking an experienced & dynamic Management Accountant to join the team.As the Management Accountant, you’ll be leading the month end process and producing full management accounts for the 3 subsidiaries and a group consolidated set, including full commentary, analysis and actionable insights. Providing Finance Business Partner support to the SLT and implementing weekly financial / business performance flash reports. This role requires an experienced ideally qualified Management Accountant that is dynamic and has a forward-thinking mindset, that can throw themselves into the high-level tasks, but is also not afraid to muck in and assist with reconciliation / ledger work during the busy month-end process. The perfect opportunity for an ambitious and career driven individual who wants to be part of a business that is experience consistent growth and is outperforming the competition.THE MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT ROLE: As a Management Accountant, you’ll be reporting to the Head of Finance whilst directly collaborating with the Board of Directors/Shareholders and the wider Senior Leadership Team.Producing accurate monthly management accounts, including full commentary currently WD5, Aiming to Improve to WD3With ad-hoc support from the 2 Accounts Assistant’s, responsible for the month end cycle including conducting full balance sheet reconciliation including journals, pre-payments, accruals and updating fixed Asset RegistersProducing accurate monthly and quarterly budgets & sales forecasts in collaboration with the Senior Leadership TeamCashflow Reporting, Analysis and ForecastingProducing detailed Management Information Reports and Board PacksBuilding and enhancing relationships with colleagues inside and outside of the finance function to improve financial understanding and to encourage data driven decisions.Implementing weekly financial flash reports for the Senior Leadership teamReviewing and implementing robust budgeting processes to improve accuracy.Extracting data from financial and non-financial systems to produce accurate reports and recommendations.Conducting in-depth analysis into Costs, Margins, Trends and BudgetsUsing analysis insights to produce reports/recommendations to influence key decisions.Assisting with producing financial models as and when required.Reviewing processes/systems & Identifying process efficiencies to ensure business scalability and to improve profitability.Prepared to get stuck in support with general finance tasks including ledger work when requiredInvolved in a future systems upgrade / migration to improve financial reporting THE PERSON: Must have experience in a Management Accountant role or similar role, such as a Finance Business PartnerIdeally CIMA, ACCA or ACA Qualified, however, exceptional Part Qualified, Finalists or QBE / Qualified by Experience will be considered as experience & attitude is more importantExperience of producing Monthly Management Accounts, Budgeting and ForecastingCompetent with MS Excel to an Advanced Level with the ability to conduct in-depth analysis.Excellent communicator with drive, confidence, initiative and commercially mindedStrong analytical skills with the ability to produce financial models.Flexible team player with a ‘can do’ attitude is essential.Excellent communication skills with the ability to present to non-financial professionalsExperience of implementing new processes, procedures and controlsA technically savvy individual who would be able to assist with future systems upgrades/migrationsExposure/Experience or demonstrating the ability to perform Finance Business Partner tasks.
