You will gain a vast amount of exposure and knowledge through training, shadowing and ongoing support to allow you to take over a portfolio of clients and continue to add new business opportunities. This is a vital hire for the business and once up to speed, this person would be a natural consideration for a Sales Manager role, but the development certainly wouldn’t end there This really is an opportunity where you will get out as much as you put in and could take your career through to a director-level role and beyondTHE ROLE: Initially shadowing the MD in his day-to-day tasks to build your understanding of the products, services and clientsAttending client meetings and calls with the MDBecoming an industry expert who can advise clients confidentlyBuilding strong relationships with clients and over time taking over the key accountsIdentifying new business opportunities and making introductions to relevant decision-makersTaking and following up on inbound queriesEnsuring all information is added to the CRM and using the system to manage your sales pipelineCreating email marketing campaigns, supporting with website management and social media posts and contentAttending relevant industry events such as Trade Shows and Exhibitions THE PERSON: Someone with a background in either a Sales Executive, Telesales Executive, Account Manager, Sales Advisor, Sales Development Representative, Account Executive or similar sales role is desirableIf not, a background within a practical industry such as machinery, production or manufacturing with a good understanding of technical processesA fast learner with a good understanding of Microsoft OfficeExcellent communication skillsConfident to meet and sell to clients over phone, video and in personOrganised and able to manage a varied workloadFull UK Driving Licence BENEFITS: Basic salary up to £33KFully uncapped commissionCar allowanceWorking under the wing of the Managing Director to take over key accounts – not building a pipeline from coldOngoing training and developmentLikely to quickly progress to Sales Manager and beyond23 days holiday + Bank Holidays Get Recruited is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
