Position: Web Development Manager Location: London, UK Salary: Competitive, based on experience We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Web Development Manager to join our dynamic team in London. As the Web Development Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of our company's websites and online platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage a team of web developers, providing guidance, support and training as needed - Plan, design and implement website projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs - Conduct regular code reviews and ensure coding standards are followed - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web development - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise - Monitor website performance and implement improvements to enhance user experience - Develop and maintain documentation for all web development processes and procedures - Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors as needed - Ensure all websites and online platforms are compliant with relevant laws and regulations Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development or a related field - Minimum of 5 years of experience in web development, with at least 2 years in a managerial role - Strong knowledge of web development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP - Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla - Proven experience in project management and delivering projects on time and within budget - Excellent communication and leadership skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Knowledge of SEO and web analytics is a plus If you are a highly motivated and results-driven individual with a passion for web development, we want to hear from you.
