What you will do As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will provide vital project engineering support for capital expenditure process enhancements and plant improvement schemes at our Colors Shotton site. Reporting to the Senior Electrical Project Engineer, your role will cover all stages from initial project concepts to final implementation and handover. You will develop electrical engineering requirements and specifications for plant/process improvements, prepare detailed project plans, and ensure adherence to Tata Engineering Standards and relevant regulations. The Electrical Project Engineer will provide project and design support to the Manufacturing Engineering and Site Services teams. Maintaining up:to:date knowledge of engineering equipment developments and producing transparent project reports for stakeholders are key aspects of this role. What you will need To be successful in this role, the Electrical Project Engineer should have a degree or HND/HNC level education in electrical engineering and relevant experience as an electrical engineer. Ideally, you will be a Chartered Engineer, however we will support you in your Chartership if this is not the case. Knowledge of Prince 2 project management principles, Machinery Regulations, and Construction Design and Management regulations is desirable. You should have experience in the planning and implementation of capital projects and managing internal and external contractor personnel. Exceptional budget management skills, comprehensive Health, Safety, and Environmental Management knowledge, and strong communication skills are essential. The Electrical Project Engineer should be proficient in using project planning tools and MS Office, and have a strong understanding of continuous strip coating lines and finishing operations.
