We are looking foran enthusiastic, self:motivated, and experienced IT Delivery Architect Lead, to join and manage our team of talented IT Architects. As the successful candidate you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the technical solutions implemented within the County Council. You will lead a team of skilled architects responsible for designing robust cyber, infrastructure and cloud solutions across a wide:ranging IT portfolio. In this dual role you will be responsible for the management, quality and development of the team as well as being 'hands:on' in delivery of solution architecture and designs. The successful candidate will have previous experience of leading and managing technical teams with Hybrid Cloud experience including design work, utilising a wide range of concepts and technologies such as SaaS/PaaS/IaaS/On:Premises hosting, application provisioning and integration, Identity and Access Management (IdAM), Windows Server, firewalls, load balancers, and databases (both HCC hosted and cloud). About You and What We Are Looking For::Motivated by architecture, design, and innovation, with the energy and capability to consistently deliver in a fast paced, high:quality environment;:Proven line management and leadership skills;:Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as an ambassador for architectural changes;:Ability to develop architecture and solutions, built on enterprise class platforms, that meet requirements and architectural standards;:Proven delivery of architecture and design documentation and identification of risks and architectural issues through to project closure;:Commitment to continued improvement of self and team, researching, and keeping track with emerging technologies and strategies;:Ability to coach, mentor and support IT Architects and technical staff;:Strong presentation skills, and the ability to distil complex technical concepts, and communicate them in a clear and easy to understand way;:Aptitude for understanding business problems and solving challenges through the application of technology;:Experience in leading the technical shaping of projects at early stages, supporting development of business cases.
