As part of our continued growth in Automation, we are looking for a Junior System Engineer to join our Gas project delivery team in Warrington. The Junior Systems Engineer will: stylemargin:bottom:8.0px::Be a committed and enthusiastic member of the team, taking responsibility for successfully delivering project solutions to the agreed scope in accordance with company procedures whilst meeting budgetary and time:scale targets.:Be pro:active and strive for high quality as standard. Work with Senior Engineer on adopting a right first time philosophy and identifying any risks or issues within the chosen approach Role stylelist:style:type:square:: Working within a project team to learn technical and project skills and taking responsibility for packages of work: Work as directed by the Lead Engineer and Project Manager: Responsible for meeting the technical and quality requirements of projects: Enthusiastic about engineering and learning new technologies: Enthusiastic to learn quality processes and procedure: Develop reusable modules by standardisation and modularization of systems where appropriate: Adhere to the business Health and Safety policies Functions The Junior Systems Engineer is normally expected to undertake the following: stylelist:style:type:square;margin:bottom:8.0px:: Develop project modules. (Modules as identified in the design : PLC code modules, SCADA scripts, Mimics, communications drivers, etc.): Report on progress of all assigned activities to Lead Engineer or Project Manager: Identify any deviations from agreed functionality or scope and notify Lead Engineer or Project Manager: Support outline design, upfront design studies and requirement definition for clients: Contribute to development of Functional Design Specifications: Contribute to development of Detail Design Specifications: Contribute to development of test specification and design testing methodology: Contribute to development of site work documentation (risk assessment, method statement, site test documentation): Contribute to preparation of Operation and Maintenance documentation: Undertake full integrated system testing and customer acceptance testing: Support Senior/Lead Engineer with commissioning duties Experience Experience of some or all of the following is desirable: stylelist:style:type:square:: PLC and SCADA experience with Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider, AVEVA or Ignition: IEC 61131 programming languages: Awareness of Industrial Protocols (OPC, IEC 61850, Profinet, Modbus, etc) : Virtualised platforms such as VMware and ESXi The following skills
