Customer Service Apprenticeship (Level 2) within Sales One Strawberry Lane, Newcastle Full time (37.5hpw) 24-month duration (with career progression opportunities available) Salary £8.60 to £11.44 per hour, depending on age (this is reflective of NMW). Then read on… We have the perfect job for you as one of our Customer Service Apprentices, part of the Sales team at Home Group! Typical day as a Customer Service Apprentice * Supporting the team that design, develop and deliver new homes to the market for sale across the county. * As we have a number of regional sales teams, you’ll have the chance to work across a wide variety of areas, gaining fantastic breadth of knowledge and practical experience. * You’ll report into one of our experienced Sales Manager and also have a mentor from within the team, someone who does a similar role, who will offer additional guidance and support. We’ll make sure you’ve developed a wide range of skills across the entire sales lifecycle in no time! * Work with an expert apprenticeship delivery partner to attend all learning and achieve a industry recognised qualification. * You will be supported by an experienced tutor as well as your own team who will make sure you have access to the learning materials and practical experience to make a success of your apprenticeship and achieve your qualification. You bring * Ideally you will hold GCSEs in English and maths, but don’t worry if not, you will complete these as part of your apprenticeship learning. * Or you could have a minimum of two years of related experience. * You’re going to really impress us if you’re proactive, professional, and eager to gain new skills in a customer service and sales environment. * You’ll be a top communicator, persuasive, driven and able to work on your own initiative. * We’re a high-tech organisation so we need you to have good IT skills. * A genuine interest in learning and personal and professional development – this is a learning role after all! Job details * We typically work Monday to Friday 9am-5pm but flexibility is important to as we understand the importance of work life balance (we’re open to agreeing a work pattern with you) * This is a hybrid role which means you’ll work from our head office location one day per week and from one of our onsite locations the rest of the week. * As you settle into the role you’ll begin to manage your own diary, so if you need to nip out to walk the dog or do the school run, we’re ok with that! * As this is an apprenticeship, 20% of your in work time will be spent engaging in relevant learning activities.
