Customer Operations Team Manager Sheffield, South Yorkshire, United Kingdom (hybrid working available post probation) Salary: up to £35,000 UniHomes has a brilliant opportunity for a driven and experienced leader to join our growing Customer Operations team in Sheffield. As our Customer Operations Team Manager, you'll share our commitment to making a positive impact on students' lives by leading our team dedicated to ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience with essential services like Energy, Water, TV Licensing, and Broadband for our customers.You’ll report to the Director of Operations and act as line manager to the Customer Operations team. Key responsibilities: Leading, coaching, and developing your team to achieve their full potential in a positive and supportive work environment. Managing team performance through clear targets, effective training, and performance reviews. Overseeing the efficient and accurate ordering of Energy, Water, TV Licensing and Broadband services for our student customers. Implementing and maintaining robust processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to compliance regulations. Identifying and troubleshooting operational issues, implementing solutions to streamline processes. Monitoring and analysis of key performance metrics (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement. Liaising effectively with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure smooth service delivery. Managing supplier relationships on a day-to-day basis. Contributing to the development and implementation of operational strategies to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. Skills and experience: Proven experience in a similar team leadership role within the Energy, Broadband or related sector (essential). Strong understanding of back-office operations and service ordering processes. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate, coach and develop team members. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with relevant industry software would be a plus.
