M365 Lead Architect Key Skills • Expertise in Microsoft 365 technologies, including Azure Active Directory, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Purview, Power Platform, and Security and Compliance – particular focus on Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Purview, • Ability to design, implement, and manage complex and scalable M365 solutions that meet the business needs and align with the M365 Strategy. • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead and influence technical teams, stakeholders, and vendors. • Experience in cloud governance frameworks – specifically the Microsoft UK Government Blueprints • Certifications in Microsoft 365, such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate, or Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate. Key Knowledge Areas • Must have worked with the extended M365 product set (EMS E3, or above, M365 E3 or above - ideally E5) • Experience of a M365 platform with 10,000+ users • Experience of a Multi-organisation M365 platform • M365 architecture and best practices, including identity and access management, data protection, information governance, threat protection, and compliance management. • Knowledge of delivering a roadmap of projects to deliver a M365 Strategy for a major organisation. • M365 migration and adoption strategies, including hybrid scenarios, coexistence, and interoperability. • M365 service management and operations, including monitoring, reporting, troubleshooting, and incident response. • M365 innovation and optimization, including leveraging new features, automation, and integration. M365 licensing and cost management, including understanding the different plans, options, and benefits.
