Net:Zero and ESG Principal Consultant : remote GBP50,000 : GBP65,000 Permanent CTJ55 Our client is seeking an experienced Principal Consultant to assist on delivering a range of professional services to their large portfolio of customers. This is an opportunity for someone with an innovative approach that is also looking for a varied workload. Job responsibilities of the Principal Consultant: * The Principal Consultant will lead small teams of consultants and peers on larger assignments * Carrying out Net Zero and/or ESG:related gap analysis and governance reviews to meet the specified customer requirements * Undertaking technical assignments such as carbon LCAs, climate resilience (site level) and SBTi submission support projects * Project management assignments, i.e. working with clients and colleagues to help client teams implement measures to achieve energy reduction and other utility and resource efficiency related projects on clients site The ideal Principal Consultant will have: * A recognised degree in a relevant technical or business discipline * A minimum of 5 years experience at Principal level in a Net Zero and ESG consultancy role, leading project delivery for key clients * A Chartered Environmentalist status or post:graduate qualification * Excellent written and verbal communication skills (including taking part in webinars and speaking at events) * Thorough knowledge and understanding of current and emerging Net Zero and ESG legislation, global frameworks, and standards * Knowledge of energy efficiency and decarbonisation measures * knowledge of carbon LCA Benefits of the role: * Competitive salary * Great ethos, culture, and values * Flexible working to accommodate individual needs (e.g. part:time/term times/school hours/study time) * Flexible work location(s) * Varied workload and client base * Extensive training and development opportunities * Employee Assistance Programme ensures confidential support is always available to you and your family 24/7 to deal with issues that could be affecting your home or work life, health, and general well:being. * 5 matched pension contribution * 33 days holiday (including 8 bank holidays) * Holiday buy/sell option * Option for longer term leave e.g. for sabbatical * Above statutory maternity/paternity pay * Bonus scheme * Sponsorship for achieving Institute of Advanced Motorist status In order to discuss this Net:zero and ESG Consultant Principal Consultant role and other positions within the Sustainability sectors please call Callum on or to
