Electrician needed (Durham, Middlesbrough, Sunderland, Ellesmere port) (full time, 40 hours a week) JOB OVERVIEW Youll help improve lives by carrying out high:quality electrical works to peoples homes and provide excellent customer service. Were people focused which means youll: * Talk to clients and customers, carry out the work and put their needs first * Leave homes clean and safe and get tenant signatures when youve finished the job * Work closely with colleagues in your team and build relationships ALWAYS ACCOUNTABLE You are trustworthy and can be relied upon to: * Drive and take good care of vehicles * Keep a record of your activities and deliveries * Report faulty appliances, installations or equipment which do not meet safety regulations * Operate machinery and equipment safely and correctly using any safety devices and practices * Handle transport materials safely * Look after tools, materials and equipment so they dont get lost or stolen * Report finds of asbestos through the Libertys Asbestos Procedure * Work in different environments including in confined spaces or high up where youll need to use ladders and scaffolding Youll play an important part in meeting : and exceeding customer expectations and providing straight forward solutions to make places safe, smart and better for all including: * Carry out all aspects of electrical works including; * Trace, diagnose and rectify faults * Carry out routine safety checks * Carry out programmed maintenance and servicing * Repair / replace electrical fittings Qualifications and Training You have GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English You have served a recognised Electrical apprenticeship and/ or appropriate full electrical qualifications Must hold a 18th Edition Experience, knowledge, skills and qualities You are experienced and competent in all aspects of the Electrical discipline, and own a full set of appropriate tools Confident working in confided spaces You have appropriate knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations You understand what good customer care looks like, and aim to deliver the best customer experience every day You can work on your own as well as part of a team Youre a good communicator You have good organisation skills and a flexible approach Youre punctual, and delivering on your promises is important to you You are committed to equality and diversity and can evidence how You have a valid driving licence Annual salary of GBP36,750 is on offer.
