HGV Class 1 Shunters Wanted In BELLSHILL Logistics People are looking for HGV Shunter/HGV Class 1 Shunter/LGV Shunter/LGV Class 1 Shunter/Class 1 Shunters working on a Full time Equivalent (FTE) basis at our Stobarts Bellshill depot. Location : Bellshill ML4 3NH Working Hours: * 5 Out Of 7 Night Shunter Starting Between 16:00 : 18:00 Shifts Available Pay rates: Monday : Friday Days: A GBP 16.25 P/hrMonday : Friday Nights: A GBP 18.26 P/hrSaturday : Sunday Days: A GBP 19.05 P/hrSaturday : Sunday Nights: A GBP 19.61 P/hr About this Role: Operate Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner within the premisesManoeuvre vehicles into loading and unloading bays according to schedulesPerform pre:operational checks on vehicles to ensure they are in good working conditionCommunicate effectively with warehouse staff and drivers to coordinate movement of goodsAdhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and company policiesComplete necessary paperwork accurately and promptlyAssist with general yard duties and maintenance tasks as required About You * You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence and have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience.* No more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions* Hold a current valid DCPC and Tacho cards* Understand and able to comply with Drivers hours and WTD legislation* Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly* Should comply with on:site health and safety requirements* Excellent communication skills About Logistics People The Logistics People are the inhouse recruiter for the Culina Group LTD recruiting for both FTE and Ad Hoc driving roles.
