Our client is a leading Facilities Management company specializing in providing exceptional services to the healthcare sector. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Catering Manager to join our team and lead our catering operations within healthcare facilities. Key Responsibilities: 1 Catering Operations Management: * Oversee the day:to:day catering operations within healthcare facilities, ensuring the delivery of high:quality food services. * Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of patients, staff, and visitors. * Team Leadership: * Lead, train, and manage a team of catering staff, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment. * Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and provide ongoing support and development opportunities. * Quality and Compliance: * Ensure all catering activities comply with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies. * Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain high standards of hygiene and food quality. * Budget and Resource Management: * Develop and manage the catering budget, ensuring cost:effectiveness and efficiency. * Monitor and control inventory, ordering supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock levels. * Customer Service: * Maintain excellent customer service standards, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly and effectively. * Engage with patients, staff, and visitors to ensure their catering needs and preferences are met. * Menu Planning and Nutrition: * Design and implement balanced, nutritious menus that cater to the specific dietary requirements of the healthcare environment. * Stay updated on nutritional guidelines and incorporate best practices into menu planning. * Sustainability Initiatives: * Implement sustainable practices within the catering operations, such as reducing food waste and sourcing locally produced ingredients. * Promote and support sustainability initiatives within the team and organization. Qualifications and Skills: * Proven experience as a Catering Manager, preferably within the healthcare sector. * Strong leadership and team management skills. * In:depth knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance standards. * Excellent organizational and problem:solving abilities. * Strong budget management and cost control skills. * Exceptional customer service and communication skills. * Ability to design and implement nutritious and balanced menus. Education and Experience: * Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field is preferred. * Minimum of (X) years of experience in catering management, with a focus on healthcare facilities.
