J800001717Occupational Therapist Paediatric Band 6/7 : Permanent Location: Hertfordshire St AlbansSalary: : GBP37,500.00:GBP47,500.00 per yearHours: Full TimeClient Group: Specialist Childrens Development CentreMust be SI trained They are looking for a paediatric Occupational Therapist that is currently in the process of completing or have completed their sensory integration post graduate training (via the SI Network or CLASI). We would love you to join our team based at our idyllic Specialist Childrens Development Centre, situated on a 100:acre farmland site. If you have a passion for working with children and their families to strive and reach their full potential, then this is the ideal job for you Job Role: You will have your own case load and will be a mix between school visits in the community and work within our childrens centre. The position will require the individual to complete assessments and interventions to children with an array of developmental disorders, including ASC, ADHD, ADD, Developmental Delay, Learning Disabilities, DCD and Dyspraxia, emotional wellbeing difficulties and Cerebral Palsy. Clients requirements: * Fully Qualified Occupational Therapist* HCPC registered.* Advanced DBS checked.* Full UK driving licence* Experience working with children/families Desired criteria:* Trauma/attachment experience* Part/fully qualified Sensory Integration practitioner* SAI post graduate qualifications* Experience of implementing EHCP specialist provision* Mental health experience* Psychological therapies post:graduate training such as CBT, DBT, EMDR Client offers: * Flexible diary/caseload* Experience of specialist provisions and assessments that are not frequently part of an NHS role, such as Sensory integration, Sensory:Attachment Intervention, Sensory Feeding, Trauma:attachment modalities. * Additional leave* Company pension* On:site parking* Sick pay For more information,
