A leading environmental and geotechnical consultancy is seeking a Senior Geo:Environmental Consultant to join our dynamic and rapidly growing office in Greater Manchester Were engaged in a broad spectrum of projects, including residential developments, renewable energy projects like solar and wind farms, and much more. Key Responsibilities: * Leading and overseeing the preparation of Phase 1/2 Environmental Site Assessment Reports. * Conducting and reviewing Mining Risk Assessments. * Developing Remediation Strategies and Validation Reports. * Performing Geotechnical Assessments, including bearing capacity and settlement calculations. * Undertaking ground gas assessments, mining studies, and analyzing the significance of soil and groundwater contamination data. * Managing and mentoring junior staff, ensuring the highest standards of work are maintained. * Coordinating with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure project requirements are met. Qualifications: * A degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field. * 2 or more years of experience in geo:environmental consulting.. * Strong technical skills in geotechnical assessment, environmental risk assessment, and remediation strategies. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce high:quality reports and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders. * A passion for environmental protection and improvement. * Valid driving licence is required
