Mediplacements are looking to recruit a band 6 Speech and Language Therapist for a locum position with our client in Bury. The pay for this position is GBP23:GBP28 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration. Job Description:The person would need to be dysphagia trained and be able to use a variety of communication techniques.We are a brain injury rehabilitation service in Bury. Our patient group is adults with significant brain injury and tracheostomy needs. There are many that have prolonged disorders of consciousness (PDoC) resulting in poor communication levels and swallowing ability. We use a variety of different communications aids from communication boards to grid three eye gazes, and several different levels in between.
