Section Engineer / QA Engineer
Description:
Do you have experience working on a civil engineering project focusing on rail, roads, earthworks and structures? My client, a tier 1 civil engineering contractor is looking for an experienced Section Engineer to join them on a long term freelance basis. You will be working on a GBP130m project based in Milton Keynes where your main focus will be working on the quality assurance elements of the contract. The selected candidate will be reporting into the Head of Quality and will continue for roughly 6 months. Roles and responsibilities: * Site visits, managing all paperwork and the QA process on site. * Liaising with NEC Supervisor and Adopting Authorities * Inspections of Quality (Quality Inspector type competence) * Liaising with Sub:Contractors and Site Supervision as well as the Engineering teamCandidate Requirements: * Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or equivalent * Have previous experience as a Section Engineer in the rail environment * Knowledge of heavy civils * Excellent communication and organisation skills * If you are interested in this role please apply with your CV or contact Morgan Broughton at Randstad CPE : London.
