Job Summary We are seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst for our European Shared Services Accounting department located in Riccarton, Edinburgh. This is a 6 month fixed term contract opportunity. Known internally as EASST (European Accounting and Shared Services Team), the European Accounting hub is central to Charles Rivers' continued European expansion. EASST supports several key regions across Europe including UK, Ireland, Germany, Netherlands, France.EASST offers a platform to join a dynamic and fast paced organisation with opportunity for professional growth and development. To maintain these standards, the organization must evolve to maintain industry best practice which presents project opportunities to progress the continuous improvement agenda and continue to deliver a world class service.The Accounts Payable Analyst will be an integral part of a larger global team responsible for all levels of accounts payable to include;- Ability to accurately process high volume of invoices to ensure suppliers are paid on time.- Deliver outstanding customer service to our internal and external customers responding to queries in a timely manner.- Conduct monthly statement reconciliations- Collaborate with peers in North America and France Shared Services to support Global KPI's and monthly global reporting.- Process all required finance transactions through the SAP finance system.- Fully understand the process to pay cycle to include, 2 and 3:way match, pricing and block discrepancies as well as VAT taxation.Minimum requirements:- Strong experience in a similar role.- Experience supporting multiple entities throughout Europe desirable.- Experience in a fast paced and changing environment.- Language skills would be beneficial but not essential.- Significant experience of SAP knowledge in accounts payable, Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) preferred The salary is GBP 27,163.48 per annum.Closing date: 10 July 2024 IMPORTANT: A resume is required to be considered for this position.
