A leading multinational engineering consultancy firm is currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join their dynamic civil infrastructure design team, stationed at either their Galway or Cork Office. The chosen candidate will collaborate within a structural team in a multidisciplinary office, contributing to diverse projects. Their current workload spans various building and site development endeavors, encompassing Commercial, Residential, Healthcare, Leisure, Industrial, Housing, and Education sectors, serving both public and private clients. Ideal candidates should be chartered or nearing chartered status, with demonstrated experience in leading civil engineering design projects.Desirable skills/attributes: Proven experience in leading civil engineering design projects. Proficiency in drainage and utilities design. Demonstrated ability to lead design teams and manage project delivery. Background in design or project management. Degree-level education. 6-10 years of relevant experience. Chartered Engineer or nearing Chartered status. Effective communication skills and adept at workload management and prioritization. Proficiency in Civil 3D, Micro Drainage, or Aviation design is advantageous. Personal Qualities: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Previous experience in staff management. Flexible approach, capable of multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively. Enthusiastic, hardworking, with a positive outlook and approachable demeanor. Self-motivated, willing to take on responsibility, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Benefits: 25 Days Annual Leave. Life Assurance. Pension.
